how can you trust First Interstate to negotiate in good faith over the bigger issues will inevitably arise if Oakwood is developed?
Oakwood supporters told us about First Interstate's signs being placed illegally on Oakwood along Warrensville Rd. The signs themselves were not illegal; it was the placement of the signs along the roadway; they were placed too close to the curb.
We wrote to the Law Director of South Euclid, Mr. Michael Lograsso, and he provided a very cordial and prompt reply.
Mr. Lograsso said he asked the building director to ask First Interstate to move their signs.
That was Wednesday. Today is Monday.
Early in the evening yesterday we took this video showing First Interstate signs placed along the entire border of the property on Warrensville; signs were placed in the both the Cleveland Heights and South Euclid parts of Oakwood.
IF FIRST INTERSTATE WILL NOT LISTEN TO SOUTH EUCLID'S LAW DIRECTOR OVER A LITTLE MATTER, HOW CAN YOU TRUST FIRST INTERSTATE TO NEGOTIATE IN GOOD FAITH OVER THE BIGGER ISSUES THAT WILL INEVITABLY ARISE IF OAKWOOD IS DEVELOPED?
The plan is for a Walmart size Supercenter and other big box retail. Supercenters operate 24 hours a day. Certainly South Euclid city officials and the police will have to work together on an operation of this size and type.
Please tell your friends and neighbors to vote NO ON 96!
The most important thing you can do for Oakwood is to talk to a new person about this every day. THERE ARE ONLY 16 DAYS LEFT BEFORE THE ELECTION.
THANK YOU!
Mr.Lograsso's email about this matter is listed below.
